With heavy hearts, the Sharpe and Cisco family regret to announce the death of their beloved and greatly cherished husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, grandfather and great grandfather, Deacon. William Emmanuel Cisco. This sad event occurred on Tuesday, February 7th, 2023, in East Orange, New Jersey, United States of America.
Deacon William Cisco, Daddy, Bob William, Bill, Uncle Bill, Uncle Bob William, as he was affectionately called, was born on April 7, 1946, in Harbel Firestone, Liberia, to the union of Mr. William E. Cisco, Sr., and Mrs. Johnetta Davis Cisco, both of whom predeceased him. William was also predeceased by his son, Mr. William Tenesee Cisco, sisters, Mrs. Sarah Freeman, Ms. Annie Cisco, and brother, Mr. Marvin Cisco. Bill is survived by his widow, Mrs. Josephine Sharpe Cisco; four children, Ms. Williametta Dawn Cisco, Mr. Emmanuel Cisco, Mr. Robert Cisco (Susan) and Mr. Will Cisco; 14 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. His siblings: Mrs. Mary Walker, Mrs. Martha Cisco-Belger (David), Mr. Eyo Raines, Mrs. Emily Gant, Ms. Brenda Cisco-Earley, Rev. Jeremiah Gobe Cisco, (Mary), Mrs. Estella Cisco-Dalrymple (Robert), Ms. Marie B. Cisco, Rev. Dr. Mark B. Cisco (Dorcas), Mr. Alfred Brown, (Victoria), Mrs. Margaret Cisco Weah, and Ms. Mardea Y. Cisco; his aunts; Mrs. Norma Cisco Dennis (Wilmot), and Mrs. Margaret Thompson Sheriff (Mohamed). Many cousins, including, Lafayette Cisco (Valena), and Juma Sonii. Uncle Bill is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.

At 5PM on Friday, March 24, 2023, his remains will be taken from the St. Moses Funeral Home to the United Christian Assembly Church located on the Smythe Road, Old Road Sinkor, for a night of wake keeping.
Homegoing Service for the celebration of Life for the Late Mr. William Emmanuel. Cisco will take place at 10:00AM on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at the United Christian Assembly Church located on the Smythe, Sinkor Old Road.
Internment follows at the Brewerville cemetery, Liberia.
