It is with great sadness that the Boe, Tucker, Nimley and Cooper families announce the passing of their beloved Edna Tadeh Boe Tucker on Saturday, March 27, 2021 in Virginia, USA after more than a decade-long battle with Alzheimer’s. Edna, more affectionately known as (Te-Edna, Tadeh) was born on July 18, 1950 in Rivercess, Liberia to Minnie and Yededor Boe. She worked at LAMCO Hospital in Grand Bassa County in the 1970s and 1980s, and she continued her work caring for others while living in New Jersey.
Edna is survived by her five children Ethel Buckle (Evaris), Doris Nimley, Lucas Juniorboy Nimley, Florence Nimley and Wada Cooper. Eight Grandchildren Avery “Tunu” Hicks, Wellington Thomas, Dominique Taylor, Mone Adjo Ekuonyo, Tinzi Ekuonyo, Camille Buckle, Gabrielle Buckle, and Naomi Buckle. Two great-grandchildren Florence Thomas and Joerica Thomas. Siblings Edna Mary Boe Tucker, Sarah Boe Zeon, Edward Boe, Gretchen Kennedy, Aletha Tucker Wallace, and the many other family and friends who loved her deeply. Until we meet again, rest in peace mama, grandma, sister, aunty, cuz, friend!
