It is with deepest sadness that the Washington, Weedor, Pewu, Beyan, and Sumo families announce the death of their beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, Kwekwe Y. Washington, which sad event occurred at Hennepin County Medical Center Minneapolis Minnesota on Saturday, November 19,2022
Kwekwe was predeceased in death by his father and mother, Subozu Somoiwu and Korto Golangner Washington, his brother Edwin Weedor, Sister and brother, Sarah and Wiowor Washington.
He is survived by his wife Alice A. Washington his seven (7) children, Kwekwe Washington Jr., Suwah Korlu, Edwin Warfolo (Kardo), Garmai Korto (BigGirl), Subozu, Moses Detrixe and Joel Washington, Four stepchildren: Pandora, Yledede, Chantal and Emmanuel, sisters, brothers, several nieces and nephews, uncles, cousins, and a host of relatives and friends in Liberia, the United States and Canada.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 7,
2023 at 11:00 a.m. at
