It is with deep sadness, but with thanksgiving for a life well-lived, that the Togba, Edwards, Woart and King families announce with profound regrets the death, in his 45th year, of Mr. Bernard Doryen Togba, Jr. This sad event occurred on Friday, December 18, 2019 in Accra, Ghana, West Africa after a brief period of illness.
Bernard Doryen Togba, Jr. was born on July 6, 1975 in the City of Monrovia, Montserrado County, Liberia. He was predeceased by his parents, Mrs. Julie W. Peters Woart (Mother), Mr. Bernard Doryen Togba, Sr. (father), Mr. Horatius Y. King, I (Foster Father) and Mrs. Tardy Frances Hne King (Foster mother). He leaves to mourn her loss and cherished memories, his his wife, Dolores Edwards Togba, his step-father, David K. Woart, his eight (8) children: Andrea Cooper (daughter), Larchute Cooper (son-in-law), Amie Yardolo (daughter), Joel Yardolo (son-in-law), George Henries (son), Peaches Togba Edudje (daughter) Eloho Papilon Edudje (son-in-law), Bernardlyn Eunice Noosh Togba (daughter), Bernard Diamond Togba (son), Kelvin C. Togba (son) and Teddy Togba (son). His brothers and sisters: Senesee Geso Freeman (brother), Letricia Vambo Freeman (sister-in-law), Mrs. Leona Monconjayee King Menyongar (sister), Mr. John Menyongar (brother-in-law), Mrs. Decontee Tardy King-Sackie (sister), Mr. Zinnah B. Sackie (brother-in-Law), Mrs. Tracy Marjadeh King Hinneh (sister), Mr. Wilson Hinneh (brother-in-Law), Mr. Horatius Y. King, II (brother), Mr. Juratius Diamond King (brother); Mrs. Klanneh Franratia King Ledlum (sister), Mr. Mensah Ledlum (brother-in-law), Mrs. Lovetta M. King Saye (sister), Mr. Augustine Saye (brother-in-law), Ms. Nyenseawon D. King (sister/daughter), and Ms. Angel Woart (sister); Mrs. Laurinda Tonia Massey (God sister), Mr. Gradey Massey (God brother-in-law), and Mr. George Kratee (foster brother), Mrs. Veronica Blamasee Kratee (foster sister-in-law). Also mourning his loss amongst his cousins are Decontee Peters (Susan Peters), Maxin Peters, his uncles, aunts, and in-laws.
Home Going Ceremonies:
Arrival in Liberia:Â On Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 6pm, the remains will arrive at the Roberts International Airport and will be escorted to the Samuel A Stryker Funeral Parlor.
Removal of Body:Â Samuel A. Stryker Funeral Services, Tubman Boulevard, Sinkor Saturday January 16, 2021 at 9:00 a.m.
Funeral Ceremony:Â Bilomar Events Center in Brewersville, on the road leading to the Ricks Institute, for his home going celebration at 10:30M
Interment:Â Kaiser Memorial Lawn, Brewersville, Montserrado County, Liberia
