The Darby, Wilson, Wright, and Gibson families announce the home-going of our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, Charles William Darby II, affectionately known as “Albert”. He quietly went to be with his Creator on Wednesday morning, January 18, 2023.
Albert leaves to cherish his memories, his wife: Frances (Kinza) Gibson-Darby, children: Leevander Darby and Kristopher Darby, siblings: Pastor Mai Darby-Brownell (Pastor Mickey Brownell), Barbara Darby, Enid Darby-Bettie, Chalnicia Darby-Snyder (Jimmy), Natalie Darby-Cassell (John), Charles Darby, Jr, Cecil Darby, Louis Darby, D. Colden Wilson (Maureen), Alliette Wilson-Perkins (Bennie), Wendell Wilson (Rachelle), Rev. Preciouse Wilson (Loretta), Wynston Wilson, Olivia Savage Thorpe (Nathaniel), Minister Annie Johnson, aunts: Ellen Wright Brown, Shirley Wright Henries, and Jenetha Ricks Gardiner, nephew: Edward Greene, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, step-children and a host of close relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his father: Charles William Darby, Sr., his mothers: Viola Wright and Cerue J. Darby, his sister: Clarice King, and his former wife: Natalie Neal-Darby.
