Filled with personal sorrow and sadness, however, giving thanks and praises to God Almighty, we announce the passing of our beloved and revered Papa, husband, brother, uncle, cousin and loyal friend Mr. James Jay Monka Dossen. This blessed event occurred at 12:21 pm on Thursday, June 30, 2022 in Puyallup, Washington. Mr. Dossen was surrounded by his children.
Mr. Dossen is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dolly W. Dossen; children: Julius, Josephus, Jenkins, Jimmy, Janis, Evelyn, Fata, and George; his grandchildren: JJ, Parker, Emery, Jazlyn, Alexis, Noelle, Norah, Nailah, and Ramata; brother, Mr. Isaac Dossen of Stephen Tolbert Estate, Gardnersville, Monrovia, Liberia; nephews, nieces, cousins, very well admired and regarded friends as well as his acclaimed and highly thought of Voice of America (VOA) community.
Remembrances as an expression of sympathy in honor of our Pa lifelong commitment to ensuring Liberia is ingrained with a solid Christian and educational foundation may be made in the form desired by families, friends, and well-wishers for the soon to be Ground-breaking work of the JAMES JAY MONKA DOSSEN LEARNING CENTER.
