If ever there was a life that spoke most ardently to love and friendship, it was Nick’s. His life and presence were gifts to us all. Every detail of his life was a recognition of beauty, sacrifice, and love. Every moment he lived reminded us of why one’s passion is a celebration.

Nick surrendered to the will of his maker and redeemer and took his wings on Monday, October 3, 2022, at 4:24, p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Nick Transitioned in love with his beloved wife, Mei by his bedside.
He was born in Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa to the union of Dr. John G. Sheriff and Rachal Garnett.
Nick leaves to cherish his memories his lovely wife, Jamesetta Amelia Berrian Sheriff (he affectionately called Mei)
His loving mother, Rachel Garnett
Children: Younnie Sheriff (Gladys), Teddy Sheriff (Almena), Nicholas Sheriff Jr., Dreem Sheriff, Edward John Sheriff (Star), Malaika Fenzel (Matt), and Temple Dahn.
Siblings: Ion Sheriff, Marcia Dunlop (John), Sophia Sheriff, and John Sheriff, Grandchildren: Avenel Sheriff, Malani Sheriff, Nicci Sheriff, Nicholas Sheriff III, Makai

My Sorrow at [ Brother Nick ] passing is not something I can put into words. My prayers and love go out to his family and friends at this most painful and challenging time. He was a role model to me! His warm smile and pleasant personality brightened many of my days, and I am sure that he also brightened the days of many others. He was a wonderful man, and we will truly miss him! I am fortunate to have known him. May his soul rest in eternal peace!!
