Mrs. Rachel Diode Sebo Wilson

The Wilson and Sebo families announce with profound sorrow the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt, Rachel Diode Sebo Wilson. This sad event occurred on Wednesday, February 10th 2021 at Yale New Haven Hospital in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
She was one of several children of Mr. Johnson Toe Sebo (deceased) and Mrs. Esther Jackson Sebo (deceased). She was also predeceased by her mother, Mrs. Gertrude Weeks.

Rachel embraced the Christian faith at an early age and grew up in Liberia as an Episcopalian. In 1998, she migrated to Connecticut, USA where she resided until her death. She was a member of Gateway Christian Fellowship and frequently visited Faith Revival Temple Church in West Haven, Connecticut, where she enjoyed worship and fellowship with family and friends.

She leaves to mourn her husband, Mr. Joseph W. S. Wilson, Sr; her children, Mrs. Dwede Wilson Willie (P Harvey Willie), Ms. Gertrude W. Wilson, Mrs. Joan Wilson Hunter (Cornelius Hunter), Mr. Henri M Wilson (Masnoh Wilson), Mr. Joseph W.S. Wilson, Jr. (Maria Nagbe Wilson), Ms. Janet N. Sebo, Mr. James L Wilson (Cecelia Wilson), Mr. Abraham Wilson, Mr. Mack Kennedy, Mr. Prince K Wilson, Mrs. Dwede Wilson Payne (George Payne), Mrs. Jestina Wilson Dolo (Emmanuel Dolo), Ms. Tardy Sebo and Ms. Josephine Shilling; as well as her siblings, Ms. Frances Sebo, Mr. Anthony T Merchant, Mrs. Joyce Caston, Mr. Joseph Sebo, Ms. Nuna Sebo, Ms. Neday Sebo, Mrs. Anastin McCritty; and several grand and great-grandchildren.

She also leaves to mourn her nieces and nephews as well as a host of relatives and friends.
She will be truly missed by her family, friends and those who crossed her path over the years. Her memories will be cherished forever in our hearts, until we meet again.

The Funeral Services will be held on February 27, 2021 at Gateway Christian Fellowship in West Haven, Connecticut. The calling hours and viewing will take place 10:00 AM and the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Masks are required and social distancing protocol will be observed. Please be advised that seating capacity is limited due to COVID-19 regulations.
The funeral service will stream live on Facebook and Google at MFH livestreaming.

Wake Keeping and Funeral Services in Liberia
The removal will be on March 11, 2021 from Samuel A Stryker Funeral home in Sinkor, Monrovia; and the wake keeping will follow immediately at the St. Stephen Episcopal Church in Sinkor, Monrovia, Liberia.

The Funeral Service will be held March 12, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stephen Episcopal Church in Sinkor, Monrovia, Liberia. Interment will follow immediately.
