The Davis, McGee, Gould, Dennis, Smith, Allen, and Kamara families are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Reverend Alfonso Mack Davis, on July 8ᵗʰ 2022. He was a very bright soul no matter the circumstance that he was in, he was always joking and smiling to enlighten the mood.
He is survived by his wife Hawa Davis and three sons: Vincent Mack Davis, Elisha Davis, and Caleb Allen Davis, his father George Wellington Davis Sr., sisters Evelyn (Pudding) Davis, Massa E Williams (Clarence), Fatu E Davis, and brother George Wellington Davis Jr.
He was predeceased by his mother, Jemima McGee Davis, brother Emmanuel Davis, sister Leona (Nanie) Davis, grandmother Cecelia E. Gould- Dennis, grandfathers Jerry Davis and E. Henry Dennis Sr.
He was a God-fearing man who devoted his life to Christ and left nothing on the table in his pursuit to the Kingdom of God. He achieved both his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Theology from Anderson Theological Seminary.
He will greatly be missed and may his soul rest in peace.

Rev. Davis was our childhood friend in New Georgia, Liberia.
If my memory serves me right, he preached his first sermon as I sung in the background “How I Got Over”.
After coming to the USA, he traveled to California and visited with all his childhood friends during his weekend in the Bay Area. I was fortunate enough to spend some fun times during that visit. He also prated for my sister during her battle with breast cancer.
Our family (Inez & Ruth Wondeh and the entire Blama family) is deeply saddened by his loss and extend our condolences.
We are looking forward to celebrating Rev. Alfonso Davis’ life with his family and friends.
May his soul rest in perfect peace!
